Olivia Bertus wallpaper collection is based on her hand drawn patterns. She edits them on her computer so they can be applied onto wallpaper and other surfaces.
The wallpaper is printed in Holland on vinyl with a paper backing. The smooth surface can be washed mildly.
You can order a roll for €85 (53 cm x 10 m). Also adjustable in color on request. If you are interested please contact Olivia for more information. It is possible to order a sample (€1,00 per sample). Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and name the sample(s) you like to receive. You will get an pay link afterwards.
The ‘Maastricht in 10 patterns’ project is an ode to my father, artist Peter Bertus († 2-4-2018). He worked on his project ‘Maastricht in 100 etchings’ since 1992. He loved his birth town very much and so do I.

The inspiration for the flower collection is in nature surrounding me. Very closely the Magnolia tree and flowers in our garden. In France the poppy seeds and in Iceland the different grasses.
The geometrical patterns are inspired by African and other ethnic art forms. Lines, triangles, cirkels, colors are at the starting point of these patterns. They arise on paper during the process. Meditative en intuitive.
