During these private lessons you will learn how to manually draw a repeat pattern. From drawing motifs inspired by nature, geometric or figurative to manually putting them on a repeat. We work with different themes and techniques. After the course you will have 3 patterns on repeat. Choose your favorite design from these 3 and have it printed on 1 linear meter of fabric. We will work with paper, pen and markers, these materials are available during the lessons.
for who?
This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to design patterns with a manual character. You don’t have to be able to draw well, but you do have to have the courage to do so and playfully try. Your drawings form the starting point of the design. Your style also gives it its own character. However, the motifs can be as simple as you want. So discover what you can do and what your own style is. Do you like more information get in contact .

The location is Olivia’s studio in Maastricht.

Included: materials, coffee/tea with something sweet, 1 linear meter of fabric (cotton) with your own design.
when?
